Matapacos meets the police dog

In the town of Delhuva,
Was brought a police dog Melhuva,
Who hailed from the village of Gelhuva,
To bring some order and peace.

Dark and ferocious features,
Like it there weren't many creatures,
It went around with preachers,
Saying it sought to maintain the peace.

While at first the people were happy,
To see their 'hoods were no longer scrappy,
That in peace they could change a nappy,
Without locking the door with a key.

But soon Melhuva began to rule them,
And it began to school them,
Punished who did not obey them,
But no fault the people could see

Matapacos came to the town one day,
To raise its voice against these ways,
It hoped to shine a ray,
But soon was sent on its way.

A few days later the townsfolk would cry,
When friends and neighbours began to die,
The only way to stop this cry,
Was to leash Melhuva.
