Books of 2024 : Book 14
Picked this for a light reading during travel. This follows the same plot as others in the series. Had read Before Coffee Get Cold, earlier this year. Books of 2024 (Set #1)
So the theme is around A cafe. This cafe has a chair and any person sitting on it can travel back in time. There are few rules to this time travel.
When you go back, you can’t leave the chair.
Due to the first point you can only meet someone who has visited the cafe in the past.
Whatever you do, you won’t be able to change the future.
You need to drink your coffee before it gets cold, otherwise you will be stuck in that chair forever.
This book is about people who want to go back in time to say goodbye to someone special. It has 4 short stories. I especially loved the The Farewell story. It is about a woman who wants to go back to say goodbye to her dog.
The book is a good travel read and easy to keep down and pick up again.

Decided to track my books this year. Just to boost up more reading and keep track of books that I liked.
Books of 2024 : Book 13
Around halfway through the book, lovers split. The reason for splitting is too cliched and reminded me of our Saas-Bahu dramas. I almost thought of quitting and not reading further but read on to complete the book 😅. The book does pick up a little later.

Books of 2024 - Book 10
Here is a short non-spoiler of“The Paper Menagerie”. This story is about a boy and his mom. As a kid, his mom is his world. She has made these paper animals for him to play with. Most of the time these lifelike paper animals are his only playmates. They also signify the con...
Books of 2024 - Book 12 and 13
This one was a gem. It's kind of based on Jerry Pinto’s own life and revolves around a family of four. There's Em, the mom dealing with mental illness; The Big Hoom, the dad who’s always got it together; and their two kids, the protagonist and his older sister. The way the book i...

Books of 2024 - Book 8
After I started my new job and with moving, it took a while to get back to reading. After a month have resumed reading regularly. Saw this in our bookshelf that Satya had newly organized. The book is little different than the genres I usually read and enjoy. But liked reading thi...
Day 13 - This n that
I am too immersed in book today to think or observe things to write about for the ongoing series. It’s about cooking, women and the misogynistic view of the country they staying in, and how it affects them deeply. It’s supposedly a thriller, but the repetitive cooking and descrip...
