Hi, Jaee here 👋

I have finally started a Bookstagram account - @readwithjaee. Shared 10+ book reviews till date here, plan to add lot many!

I want to keep my hobby photography (@jaeejadhav) and book accounts @readwithjaee separate because I have realized reading is no longer just a hobby for me. It’s an essential part of my day.

Interestingly, the hashtag #bookstagram has been used in ‘over’ 100 million posts. Instagram alone hosts ‘more’ than 500,000 active influencers across niches like literature, lifestyle, and beyond. Yes, this space is saturated. And yes, I am skeptical(big time) to have started this account.

BUT, I read something that clicked-
“Saturation forces clarity.
Each contributor has a unique voice. There may be thousands of book reviewers - but no one reads, feels, or writes exactly like you. There’s room for everyone - especially if you find your unique angle😀”.

For me, the act of writing and publishing reviews, no matter how small the audience - gives me a confidence in my opinions and the ability to express them! So yes, let’s read slowly, intentionally, and with delight.
