Global Poetry Writing Month #2 With Apologies to the Nakshatras
The Nakshatras in Indian lore,
Did the Moon very much adore,
Each night he did spend,
with a Nakshatra in her abode.
The lore was spun by human mind,
And you know we are not very kind.
We now know thanks to modern science,
The Moon's orbit went nowhere close.
The Nakshastras did not know,
Each other or that we called them so,
They were far away in space and time,
Bright because of their own shine.
We compared the Moon to honey and butter,
A handsome husband who could do better,
A husband who waxes and wanes,
No different than any human today.

The post goes beyond the picture it paints for me because SpaceNET was my first company, and Shuvam was my first mentor. When I joined, SpaceNET was called Starcom.
You and Me
I’ve envisioned us as a black-and-white photograph, akin to the moon in a dark night. I don’t have grand expectations—just a bit of care and a promise to be there, now and forever.
