Govinda Govinda!

“Govinda Govinda” the word itself has a very spiritual vibe, the place tirumala is not only spiritual but is beautiful in its own way.

Me, being a devotee of “Shree Venkateshwara swamy” feel privileged to always seek his blessings every year, it is believed that “one does not visit Tirumala when they want, rather one visits Tirumala when Govinda wants to see you.”

The temple is located on the seven hills and one can travel the ghat by road or take the climb which is “3,550” steps, to be honest, personally I love to climb. Amidst the nature, wild animals around the chant of “Govinda” or “Om namo venkatesaya” makes the climb easy for pilgrims as the name itself gives a lot of energy.

Climbing those seven hills, when one reaches “venkatadari” hill, the vibe, the place, the spiritual energy that place holds cannot be described. As believed lord Vishnu himself resides in Tirumala/ venkatadari hills, which can be felt.

The religious practice performed at that place is mesmerising, people getting tonsure shows immense faith of them on lord Balaji, (been there, done that 😜). After performing all the religious practices, rituals, a dip in the holy water called as  “Shrivari-Pushkarani”, one reaches the Darshanam queue.

After a long wait in the darshanam queue, when one reaches the main temple and sees the idol of lord Venkateshwara, one is lost in the mesmerising idol of the deity.

I always feel lucky and blessed every time I visit this place, and one should visit this place, at least once in a lifetime.

Day 5 - Feast at the temple

A trip to native is never complete without having the festival lunch at temple. The sadya served is considered tasty and precious gift from the Creator and hence the seniors in the family make sure that we attend it atleast once or maybe more in a year.

Every damn year, the breakdown comes swiftly, like a storm untold, heart racing, mind spinning, losing control. What seems like joy then feels like a weight, an imbalance growing, too heavy, too late.
