Hold

You know today while I was just moving I could see many things, some thrown away, some slipped while trying to hold and some which had come from a far away.

While moving with the forward motion I came across a paper, blank paper I thought to draw something but to draw I couldn't hold the paper, I moved on, a little later I came across a broken pencil and a crayon. I was amazed, thought someone is listening to my thoughts to make them come true. But, I couldn't hold the pencil and crayon. I thought if I could hold the paper and the crayon, would have created something nice which could have given me a happy memory.

I kept moving with the motion ahead, came across a piece of bread, was actually starving, tried to eat it, the bread passed through me. Later came across an eaten apple, my hunger had already died.

While moving I bumped into a large stone, tried to sit on it but couldn't. On my sideways I could see lush green grass with sunrays playing with it, felt like to have little nap, I wished to join them but couldn't stop.

So can you see, I cannot stop by my wish, or cannot hold anything to eat, to draw, couldn't even join a game!!

So my human friends, you have an ability to do whatever you want, to hold anything you wish to.. hold a little longer that hand which gives you happiness, hold on to that chat you are having a little longer, stay with those friends for cup of coffee for a little more, grab a crayon, pencil and let out that picture inside your head onto canvas or paper, and immerse in it for a while…

Because there is a time when you feel to pause the moment to cherish it!! And you CAN do it…

Yours,

Stream of water

365 Days Challenge

Dusted off my old Canon 'point and shoot' from the attic in 2019, the one I bought in 2010, and started playing with it for in-house ‘Food Photography’. It appeared as though a child was presented with a plaything for amusement. Since then the ‘light and shadow’ saga has begun!&n...

Mumma!

I hear the cry when I am not in the same room when you open your eyes. I roll my eyes , dropping whatever I was doing. Here comes the first in the series of commands for the day. I see you rubbing your eyes, asking if you have to go to school, and the look of sheer sadness that f...

Just a thought

I wish I had the power to say something and then take it back. No, I don’t regret hurting someone with my words. Rather, I want to live that conversation and see how it goes, move onto the next without having the baggage of the first.
