Litter-ally Amazing!
"People don’t put the garbage in their bags; instead, they prefer to throw it on the roads."
His innocent yet insightful statement made me realize the importance of addressing this issue. That was the moment I decided to take action and share the thought with others in our colony!
…. Our initiative continued for five years. By the end of 2019, we had collected an astounding 2,500 kgs of plastic waste in a single month—just from our colony! It was an incredible journey indeed.
…. This experience taught me that a single thought, a small step, can create a ripple effect. If one five-year-old's innocent thought could spark such a movement involving 500 households, imagine the impact each of us can have.
“Change” begins with us!”
