Roads

I am continuing to enjoy my commute and also learning to get new insight each ride. The good rainy day will definately follow a bad travelling day. All the potholes will be welcoming me. If you are travelling on the same route everyday, it seems we become one with the road we are on. Saying because I know the exact spots where the surface dips, where the cracks run deep, and where I need to swerve just a little to avoid a jolt. There was a day I hit a pothole hard, simply because I was following an auto-rickshaw too closely, which kept pothole in blindspot. The potholes of perticular area were repaired sooner compared to other locality, defining the type of people who live there and the attention they receive.

I cannot imagine the traffic without traffic police they are doing a great job managing the flow of never-ending vehicles but some days are different, their interventions create more congestion than they solve. I am happy with the traffic as long as the vehicle is moving. Now I truly understand the meaning of "being in ones shoes" remembering the friend who left the city just due to traffic! No matter how much technology advances, I doubt traffic will truly improve as long as the number of vehicles keeps rising. The traffic department keep on doing new improvements and changes. The new ❤️ shape “red signal” on world heart day did gave a different vibe.

Everywhere I look, advertisements compete for my attention the eyes cannot skip seeing them, how does one because they have removed the blind spot just for that. There’s always more to observe, more to reflect on, but one thing is clear: the road is more than just a path from one place to another—it’s a mirror of the world we move through every day.
