Tribe
I am an introvert. I know it is a strength. I use it more as an excuse to not meet people. But as you start discovering your tribe in life, people aren’t that much of a problem. Finding your tribe matters.
In the past week, I attended three meetups. This is very unusual for me. I had a great time. Each event was unique. It started with a Hasgeek conference, then an insightful interview and workshop with Utsav Mammoria, and then a thought-provoking failure modes meetup. I also had a great 1-1 meeting with a founder who I had gone to for advice.
All meetups took up a lot of my time. In person meetings always do. But I believe it was an excellent bargain. I met more people than I usually meet in a few months. And to top it off, it was a diverse bunch of people. Even though, two out of the three were tech meetups, I encountered a lot of diverse ideas and backgrounds across these meetings.
I spoke with these people and got new ideas. I validated a few existing ideas. I got inspired. I added three cool features to thinkdeli. My co-founder and I realized the need to course correct our approach to building and selling our new AI product. All this happened because I met new people, spoke with them, and exchanged ideas.
On a side note, I have exhausted my energy for all social interactions for the next few weeks. Time for some solo coding sessions and intense 1-1s with friends. 😅

GHCI 2024
The conference was divided into three parts. It would start with one or two key-notes and fireside chat and then end again with a panel discussion and entertainment. Start and end were common for all and the middle sessions were divided into multiple tracks.

My Happy Place
A lot of friends ask me. Some wonder secretly. Why do I build random stuff? The answer is simple. It makes me happy.I have benefited immensely from the stuff I have built. Personal satisfaction has been the biggest benefit. But when you have stuff to show, it also becomes ...
My plan with thinkdeli
I started thinkdeli almost exactly a year ago. I wanted to build an app that would let me start writing in a second, and would work offline. With these modest goals, I started building.

Beyond Code: Applying the MINASWAN Principle to Everyday Interactions
Let’s explore a topic that has intrigued me throughout my life: the concept of \"being nice.\" This seemingly simple idea can be quite complex, as everyone seems to have their own interpretation of what it means to be nice. These interpretations are often bounded by personal expe...

Why doesn’t people talk to each other more
Yesterday had a long talk with the husband on what his current projects are. A bunch of information was shared which made me excited about the IT future in general. The work maybe boring and daunting but the future prospects gives hope. Maybe I was always drawn to new tech. But d...
