Aging Hometown

Parents getting old, they are not able to do with ease what they were able to before.

Grandmother getting significantly older, she speaks less. (very unlike her)

Dog is as old as grandmother in dog years, he moves less. (very unlike him)

City feels older than what I remember from my school days, in a way I cannot properly put into words.

Nothing in Bangalore makes me feel this way, it is such a contrast, where nothing seems to age.

I live in a gated society there which is mostly full of old people, but they don’t seem to age as much, they are already old.

Average age of people I meet is much younger there. Everyone has more energy, everyone is doing so many things, life moves fast.

Moving fast but not aging much? How? No idea, but Bangalore seems to be able to pull it off.

Raipur, my hometown is more of move slow but age fast. No idea how its doing that.

My hometown makes me heavily question what matters in the long run

It is such a strong reminder of the passage of time.
