The last constructors championship: 1998.
Cigarette sponsorship was legal.
Cars could be controlled from the pits.
The engines were 3 liter V-10 petrol burning, frenetic screaming monsters.
The cars were small.
8-Dec-2024. Championship again.
Everything is different about F1. And everything is pretty much the same.
Its still the pinnacle of auto racing.
Its still dangerous.
It is still boring for the most part.
And it still arouses my passions like little else.
I became a McLaren fan by accident. They were the best team in 1997.
I chose to be a fan since. 26 years later, today, is a good day.
