Frames of Her Life

Finally, I have started work on my project I call "Frames of Her Life" ✨️

It's a photo series that combines portraits with personal stories, highlighting the varied journeys and experiences of women. It’s been on my bucket list for some time now. My intention is to engage with women in my vicinity, delve into their stories, and narrate them through both words and image!

I am beginning this series with Poorva K, whose portrait I had the opportunity to capture last week at a handicrafts exhibition. She is an enthusiastic admirer of handicrafts. Read her story, articulated in her own words, at the following link:

Bharatnatyam Beginnings

“I don’t have a clear memory of my first dance lesson – I was just 5 and a half. But I do remember the sound of ‘Salangai,’ the clinking of bells that fascinated me and drew me to the class.…”

2024 highlights!

From food that looked too good to eat 🍴, cover photography for my blogs , to portraits that captured stories, to monochrome experiments and abstract themes — this year was all about exploring.
