Kitchen table
A place to talk,
Deep, important things,
A place to keep,
Silly and important things.
The daughter's doodles,
The son eating noodles,
The positive pregnancy test,
Or even just a place to rest.
From silent prayers,
Hugs and kisses,
To loud fights,
In silent nights.
It need not always be,
A real table you see,
It could just be,
Any corner or a place to be.
