Visit to Blossoms
Usually on one day of the weekend we like to go out somewhere. Be it Agara Lake, IDC Kitchen (our favorite dosa place), Lal Bagh Botanical Garden or a simple evening dinner at RMZ. A weekend before Dasara holidays we decided to visit Blossoms Bookstore on Church Street.
We were running a little behind the schedule and by the time we came out of the metro station it was past our usual lunch time. But Vivaan insisted that he is not hungry and we can visit the book store first. I made him promise that he wont be hangry later and he did keep his promise.
We have visited Blossoms multiple times earlier with Vivaan. But this was the first time that he really enjoyed his visit. Satya and he explored all the children’s book shelves. He selected some superhero books, some paw patrol books and some activity books. Once he was done selecting, it was time for us to look for our books. While waiting he nicely sat on the chair and went through each page of all the books. He is just learning to read 3-4 letter words in school so currently he mainly looks at images on the books as we read them to him. Ever since he was a year old, he loved looking at book pictures and listening to stories. Fingers crossed he keeps loving books as he learns to read on his own!
This is our little dude, engrossed in his books at blossoms.

A good day
A great Saturday. So thankful. Started with a good dose of oxytocin from spending time with kids.
