A good day

A great Saturday. So thankful. Started with a good dose of oxytocin from spending time with kids. 

In the afternoon a reluctant plan turned into an amazing day overall. 

Sanika had bought tickets to Ayyo Shraddha’s show. She would see the show in the afternoon. I would watch it in the evening.

So while Sanika went to the afternoon show, Vivaan and I spent the afternoon at the Viswesvaraya Industrial Museum followed by snacks and coffee. Surprisingly we managed to not get on each other’s nerves. It might have to do something with the ice cream, telescope, some random balloon boat science toy, and a chocolate bar that was bought. 

I then handed Vivaan over to Sanika and enjoyed So Mini Things by Ayyo Shraddha. Absolutely loved the show. It was different. Felt a lot personal. Felt like a peek into her life. Felt like I got to know her. It was risky and bold in that sense - putting yourself out there, exposing yourself to judgement by strangers. I think that is what made it likeable. She managed to maintain a great rhythm of building up the pressure, making the audience a little uncomfortable and then releasing it, phoosh. That’s what good comedy is about, I guess.  

Anyway, a day to be thankful for.
