Bandipur and Ooty

Day 1

1. Jungle Hut, Masinagudi

Amazing resort in Bandipur National Park.

Mudumalai Safari

Day 2

1. Earl’s Secret Restaurant

   Restaurant with good food and great ambience. Features in the recent movie Archies.

   

   2. Club Mahindra Race Course - We stayed here for two nights.

      

Day 3

1. Ooty - Boating Spot and Children’s Park

You can do boating. There are also a few rides for kids. 

2. Doddabetta Peak

This is the highest peak in the region. Good views from the top. There is parking at the top. But the road is quite narrow. 

3. Vijikan View Point

This is an amazing spot on the way to Coonoor after you get down from the Doddabetta peak. There is a small fees to take photos.

4. Cafe Diem

This is a very pretty cafe just outside Coonoor. It is veg only and they need reservations in advance. Make sure you call before you visit. We didn’t see Coonoor beyond this point. We returned to Ooty in the evening.

Day 4

1. Sterling Ooty

This is where some of the friends stayed. This was the view from their hotel room.

2. Needle Rock View Point

This was on our way back to Bangalore.
