Day 4 - All-in-one Multiverse
A sea of coconut trees. A clear blue sky with swirls of clouds. Backwaters and lakes here and there. Humid temperatures with scorching heat. A home we were born into. A home we were married to. A home where relatives visited us uninvited. A home where we celebrated all major milestones of our lives. A place filled with memories, and feels distant in the present. A city where we can hear crows, eagles and sounds of other common birds chirping around during the day and dark creepy silence after dusk. A city which notices what you wear, how you behave and is filled with gazes and judgements. A city that claims to give peace but is always risky for the facilities it provides.
A travel with blue gray shades of color, amidst all the train smells. The music of the train movement coupled with chattering noises. A scenery which brings back nostalgia for the elders and curiosity for the younger ones. The intermediate world between different worlds we live in.
The home we currently live in. The home we raise our kids. In a city with high rise buildings and traffic honkings. A place which never sleeps at night and has multiple events happening across which is advertised in groups. A city we make our own though we seldom know others. A place in the present though we feel distant at times.
A future where in a home is portable. A city which can bring about anything and everything at a touch. A city filled with virtual machines and unnamed devices. A city that seems scary and unknown in the present but maybe acceptable and comfortable in the future.
And what about the worlds inside us? Or the milky way which we occupy in. How many are there? Or is it only one universe in all?

Embracing Life Beyond the Highlights
Time has started to fly lately and I do not mean it in the cliched, overused way. I really feel that because of the constant overconsumption of information, in terms of reels, commercials, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, TV, gripping series, and so on. I remember our school period ...

Day 6 - Beach days
The salty breeze welcomed us as we got down at the bus stop. The beach was crowded as expected on a Sunday evening. We walked towards the waves. The sunset was about to happen. The horizon reminded us of our minuscule presence in the world.

When you read a book and it describes a place, a real city where things happen, how closely does the reader experience the city? How close can a reader really get?

Wonderment
11 years ago, I recall my first day at Novartis' head office in Worli. It was my first experience in a corporate setting, my internship that was going to get me my first paycheck. It was thrilling and exciting, and I felt like the world was my playground. I remember having a new ...
