Day 12 - Mood swings
Skies are moody
I’m now gloomy
She says mummy
You are glumpy
I nod my head
Give her bread
All that said
I go to bed
What to feel
Layers there to peel
Hope I wasn’t mean
Wish I could redeem
Came over to hug
Thought she’d bug
Trapped.
Encircled.
Sent me some reels
To see and be free
Blinked.
Embraced.
Warmth filled in
Ordered food in
Smiles spreading
Eyes glistening
Munched on sushi
Heart went mushy
She became busy
I became fizzy
Night is now creepy
I’m better n happy
She says mommy
We are both sleepy

Day 8 - Restless in JOMO
After the travel which consisted of visiting wedding and beaches, Bangalore home received me back with a gift of “cold”. Not the cold weather, but the bout of cold which makes you feel tired and sleepy. And yes I was cranky enough, more than the kid, because we all have the child...
Day 6 - Beach days
The salty breeze welcomed us as we got down at the bus stop. The beach was crowded as expected on a Sunday evening. We walked towards the waves. The sunset was about to happen. The horizon reminded us of our minuscule presence in the world.

She always slept the same - face with a smile just about to break the darkness with rays.
