Dhan Guru Gobind Singh JI

The Sikh gurus have been the guiding light for the entire humanity. They didn’t just preach Sikhism which is humanity but lived it through their deeds and life .

Guru Gobind Singh Ji , the 10th guru of Sikhs , was an embodiment of bravery and sacrifice. He empowered the weak and the strong, the people from all races and castes with the warrior spirit by forming Khalsa Panth. Khalsa Panth was really the need of the hour in those time and even today. He not only gave people a new life but also a uniform they had to wear on having Amrit Pan, that is the Sikh way of baptism where Sikh have to keep uncut hair and wear 5 kakars or symbols of faith : a wooden comb , a kachera (cotton shorts) , a kirpan ( sword ) and a Kara ( iron bracelet) after a sacred ceremony the the panj pyaras (5 beloveds) perform in the presence of holy Guru Granth Sahib Ji. The unique identity given by Guru Gobind Singh Ji makes them spirited beings , the saviours of humanity and the oppressed. You go in any place, the Sikhs always stand out, looking like a pious King with the crown called turban on their head. Well , Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed his entire family, his father, mother and 4 sons to lay the foundation stone of Khalsa Panth. There is no discrimination of any kind to take Amrit Pan to join Khalsa Panth and be a part of the Divine army .

Well Guru Ji’s story can’t be penned on a page and it’s impossible to write about the infinite. There are miscreants in all religions who try to spread hate but all religions preach love and kindness. Let’s try to walk on the divine path and stay strong ignoring the negative pulls and obstacles on the way. The path of righteousness , the ultimate goal which only a few can accomplish.

Pukhtunwali

As anyone growing up in 90’s India, I could do the Pathan accent. The images of Kabuliwalah and Khuda Gawah in equal measure and the romance of thinking of distant peoples whose lives could not be more different than yours.

I had all at once !

That day... I still remember that day crystal clear as I experienced the energy and existence of him. Here him resonates Lord Ganesha. According to me Lord Ganesha is the god of wisdom, patience and to experience feeling of satisfaction. This is purely based on the experiences I ...

“Govinda Govinda” the word itself has a very spiritual vibe, the place tirumala is not only spiritual but is beautiful in its own way.
