Diamonds are forever
I don't get the hype about diamonds these days.
It's a crystalline form of carbon - which can be produced in a lab.
Lab diamonds are as good or even better when it comes to purity as real diamonds.
Lab diamonds can be manufactured on an industrial scale and to whatever size one wants.
But for some reason - diamonds are still expensive? Please don't give me that old reason of - Ohh it's expensive because it came from the earth and labor and blah blah. I don't see anyone making that argument for other things that are cheaper because of industrial scale.
So is it all marketing? Diamonds are forever? Like marriages? Maybe there is an analogy there.
Is it because we are suckers?

Excellence
If there is one word that describe us humans, that word is mediocre. Most of us are mediocre at almost everything we do. I am a mediocre cook, employee, student, cricketer, friend, husband, and father. By now, you must have noticed, my writing is mediocre too.
