Lives and living

Do cities live different lives?

Do they go through the tumult of human emotion as time slowly ticks by?

These walls could tell you many tales if they could speak. What tales would they be?

Would they be of the sights and sounds that no longer appear prominent?

Of one kind of music being replaced by another? Dances that stop being danced?

The creaking sound of old shoes replaced by sneakers shuffling along?

Of aspirations growing with the expanse of the cities. Of the pace of living outstripping the speed limits of thoughts.

Or maybe to them it's as simple as taking one costume off and putting another on. Going with the flow.

Embracing Life Beyond the Highlights

Time has started to fly lately and I do not mean it in the cliched, overused way. I really feel that because of the constant overconsumption of information, in terms of reels, commercials, videos, podcasts, audiobooks, TV, gripping series, and so on. I remember our school period ...

Just a thought

I wish I had the power to say something and then take it back. No, I don’t regret hurting someone with my words. Rather, I want to live that conversation and see how it goes, move onto the next without having the baggage of the first.
