Girl from Ipanema is one of the sensuous and compelling pieces of music I’ve had the honor of hearing.
But its unveiling to me was a mere side event. Compared to the magnificence that is V for Vendetta.
This scene, was a crescendo. A starting gun. To a marathon of a series of questions and discoveries, that happily continues to this day.
I can wholeheartedly say, this is where my education re-started.
History and Civics, which had been consigned to the background of consciousness, came screaming to the fore.
A great piece of art. An apt metaphor for real life. A Big Bang in my universe. All to the soundtrack of great jazz.
