Soup-astic Week!

🍲 Hi! Last week, I took on the challenge of cooking 7 different soups at home - one for each day!

I roped in a couple of neighbors and, of course, my husband – he’s always game. These three brave souls had to taste my Soup Recipes experiment and share the feedback.  Well, no one ended up with a stomach ache or in the hospital, so I am guessing the soups passed the test!

🥄 It was such a fun experience trying out a new soup every day! I've compiled all the recipe links and details in today's blog post. If you're into soups, you might want to check it out when you can. Blog at https://jaeejadhav.com/2024/08/02/soup-astic-week/

Day 11 - Miso

It all started as usual with KDramas. The journey into Korean food, finding out about ramen and sushi(actually gimbap in korean which we thought as sushi), ordering from Daily Sushi, finding out about other korean cafés in Bangalore. It all happened because of the crash landing(...

Day 9 - Writing tricks

This “NoBreakNovember” series by thinkdeli reminds me of another writing community I was part of, years earlier. We used to post everyday in April under “AprilBloggingChallenge”. I have attempted only once and that itself tired me out. I was out of ideas dang in the middle. Thoug...

Engaging in a daily writing practice…

Engaging in a daily writing practice of at least 100 words requires a well-organized strategy to ensure consistency and stimulate creativity. Like some of us, should random topics prove ineffective, adopting a more focused and deliberate approach may be beneficial.

Recipes I Make: Authentic Lebanese Hummus

Finding the best and the most authentic Hummus in India can be a little difficult and the ready-made packaged Hummus available in the Indian markets are outright horrendous. I realized making the authentic version of the Hummus is super easy at home. Pair this with Pita breads an...

Dec 9 - Monday blues!

Just another Monday in December. But on some mornings I get into blues, need not be a Monday though, and I start rambling. Twitter gets the brunt of it most, but since it’s already in deep s.h.i.t nowadays, I presume it’s won’t mind to carry some more. For me. I haven’t taken pre...

Unwrap the gift for an eco-joy!

Everyone is at a different stage in their sustainability journey. I am not 100% a minimalist, or a vegan, or a hardcore sustainability warrior YET. But I am trying my best daily as much as possible.
