An Apolitical Therapist
Can self-care exist without community care?
Everything is broken,
At each perspective,
Self, Community, and the Universe.
A yellow notepad,
Any useful pen,
And a vital question.
A curious mind,
Some mental models,
And a very patient ear.
Are these tools,
Enough to treat the Self?
Isn't something missing?
Once the Self is cared,
Then Community comes,
Because without community care,
Can we care the Self?
I switched-off the lights,
With these questions in my mind,
I lay down in bed.
I had not reached,
The level of the Universe.
But for that, for now,
I peered through my telescope.
