Day 2 - Storing Memories
I had posted about this on Twitter yesterday asking about a future device

A device which can read our thoughts or extract our memories to a data storage, just like Dumbledore does with his wand.
The idea came up when I was lying in bed and there were so many thoughts or one liners coming up in my mind which I was too lazy to post on Twitter. There is voice control for that but I rarely use it. I don’t even talk to Siri much.
This sent me on quick search landing me on Reddit(why didn’t I find this website when I was younger is still a mystery!) where I found two quick links :

Posting it here for my quick reference.
Earlier we used to store handwritten letters, and then printed photos. Now it’s just Google photos and portable hard drives (Remember Seagate?). Maybe in future, there maybe a version of data storage of a person, which can be used by AI or by family members. Even at that stage too, will the nostalgia hit the same as how it does now? The tears, emotions, warm feelings and all. Will the grand AI ever be able to capture and replace those?

First Post
Stumbled upon this writing tool from Twitter. It has ever been my weakness to try out new writing apps. If it was collecting yearly diary gifted from my father’s bank in my childhood, I progressed digitally in my teenage years. Do you remember “jots” on linux? Or was it called jo...

The post goes beyond the picture it paints for me because SpaceNET was my first company, and Shuvam was my first mentor. When I joined, SpaceNET was called Starcom.
Semantic Search, aka Magic
The related notes feature searches all your notes to find the ones that are closest in meaning to your current note.Searching notes to find text similar in meaning to your query is called semantic search. We are trying to build a semantic search engine.
Wonderment
11 years ago, I recall my first day at Novartis' head office in Worli. It was my first experience in a corporate setting, my internship that was going to get me my first paycheck. It was thrilling and exciting, and I felt like the world was my playground. I remember having a new ...
