झोंकों से बातें
गुज़रती हुई हवा से पूछा हमने,
मिले थे क्या उनसे कहीं?
झोंके ने हौले से मुस्काकर कहा,
"जी, बिल्कुल!"
क्या याद किया हमें उन्होंने?
पूछा हमने झोंके से,
दुपट्टा लहराकर वो बोला,
"जी, बिल्कुल!"
हमारा पैग़ाम ले जाओगे क्या?
पूछा हमने झोंके से,
पत्ते गिराकर वो बोला,
"जी, बिल्कुल!"
हमारी मुस्कान भी संग ले जाओगे?
पूछा हमने झोंके से,
ज़ुल्फ़ों को सहलाकर वो बोला,
"जी, बिल्कुल!"
उनके आने का संदेसा दोगे क्या?
पूछा हमने झोंके से,
मिट्टी उड़ाकर वो बोला,
"जी, बिल्कुल!"
क्या कहोगे उन्हें कि इंतज़ार है?
पूछा हमने झोंके से,
बारिश की फुहार संग हँसकर कहा,
"जी, बिल्कुल!"
"फासले कम करो उन अपनों से,
जो दिल के सबसे पास हैं!"
