Vivaan is 5 today
My kid turns 5 today. The day he has been waiting for and talking about almost for one year is finally here. I don’t know anyone else who can be as excited for a birthday. I am thankful the day is here. Once, I tried to educate him that this day is like just another day. But I quickly caught the cynic in me and pushed it back. Let the kid have his birthday!
Vivaan is 5 means I am 5, as a father. It has been a strange but rewarding experience. Nothing has demanded so much from me, but nothing has given so much back either. No experience compares to this.
Not that anyone asked, but the only insight I want to share with you, if you want to be a dad, is this: It is very difficult to plan and decide what kind of father you will be. You will be the same type of father as you are a man. So try to be a good man.

Parenting stories - silent mothers, eager fathers
I am at an age where a lot of my friends and their friends are becoming parents or have become parents recently. One thing I have noticed is that my male friends are almost too eager to share their experience of becoming a father. I have done this too. I can’t stop talking about ...
